HOMING PIGEONS- (CAVE TO MARS)

 The homing pigeon is a domesticated Rock Dove which has been trained to find their way home over extremely long distances.Their average flying distance is about 30 miles per hour.
Homing pigeons were frequently used at the time of world wars. During Vietnam war US used these pigeons to find hidden enemy camps.The pigeon service or "P-mail "was used in Orissa till 2002 during natural calamities.In South Africa pigeons are used to smuggle diamonds out of the country.
