National Nutrition Month 2011
The theme for March 2011 is "Eat Right with Color."
National Nutrition Month® is a nutrition education and information campaign created annually in March by the American Dietetic Association. The campaign focuses attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits.
National Nutrition Month is Everywhere!
Visitors to New York City's Times Square may notice a special reminder to "Eat Right with Color" among the city's bright lights — the National Nutrition Month logo will be featured on an electronic billboard during the month of March !
Are You Blogging National Nutrition Month?
How do you eat right with color every day? If you have a food or nutrition blog, we encourage you to let people know your thoughts on what it means to always "Eat Right with Color." Whether you write a post about NNM once a week or just once, let people know what the month means to you — and show it off by posting a widget on your blog.
How Can You Blog National Nutrition Month?
- Beginning on March 1, add the widget to your blog.
- Write about what "Eat Right with Color" means to you. Be sure to include a link to the National Nutrition Month page to help your readers learn more about the month: www.eatright.org/nnm
- Send your blog to firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be include it in our NNM blog roll.
